EARLY YEARS
Picture Books
Both my picture books are extended texts based on well known nursery rhymes. They grew out of my singing the songs and asking the children what happened next. They encourage role play and storytelling.
Early Years Storytelling
I tell a whole range of stories suitable for early years, including The Little Red Hen and Sly Fox, The King who wanted to touch the Moon, The Leopard's Drum, Rabbit and the Wolves and of course many of our traditional tales.
The stories include, songs and rhymes and sometimes simple prop.

I learnt my trade working as underfives book and storyteller at Lambeth Libraries. Early Years has always been a hugely important part of my work. I can still be found at the Horniman Museum as one of their Underfives Busy Bees Storytellers.
I also ran LEARNING TOGETHER
at the Children's Discovery Centre in Tooting for over ten years. Although it is no longer running you can still listen to the session here.
